- Basic electrical principles relating to heating system components including pre-work checks and lawful limitations
- 1999 Water Regulations assessment
Level 3
Plumbing Advanced Level – Theory modules leading to:
- Part P Defined Scope electrical qualification
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Domestic Plumbing and Heating
- Domestic Unvented Hot Water Storage Systems Certificate
- Practical training relating to plumbing and domestic heating; components, installation and maintenance
- Assessments in compliance with 6035 Level 3 knowledge units:
- Unit 301 Understand the Fundamental Principles and Requirements of Environmental Technology Systems
- Unit 302 Plumbing system installation planning
- Unit 303 Complex cold water systems
- Unit 304 Domestic hot water
- Unit 305 Sanitation and drainage systems
- Unit 306 Central heating systems
- Unit 308 Career awareness in building services engineering
